Atlanta Falcons receiver Julio Jones left Monday night’s game against the Green Bay Packers with an injured hip, but told reporters he will "be OK."

Jones was injured late in the fourth quarter of the Falcons' 43-37 loss to Green Bay, after catching 11 passes for a career-high 259 yards and a touchdown. He did not return to the game after he was injured.

Falcons coach Mike Smith did not give an update on Jones or other players that were injured in the game.

“We absolutely need all of our players as we go down the stretch. I think its way too way early to be talking about Sunday,” Smith said after the game. “Our guys will get in with the trainers and work as hard as they can to get back out on the field."

Jones said he wanted to return to the game but couldn’t because of the injury.

"Last year, I missed the majority of the season with a broken foot. And that came back into my mind when I wasn't able to go back out there with my teammates and fight with them at the end of the game,” Jones told ESPN. “I’ll be OK. I just have to get treatment this week, and we'll go from there."

Jones has 93 catches for an NFL-high 1,428 yards and six touchdowns this season for the Falcons (5-8), who are tied for the NFC South lead with the New Orleans Saints with three games remaining. They play the Pittsburgh Steelers at home on Sunday.
