Titans place tackle Michael Oher on IR
The Tennessee Titans have placed injured right tackle Michael Oher on injured reserve, ending his season.
The team announced the news on Saturday. The organization also said it promoted defensive back Khalid Wooten from the practice squad to take Oher's spot on the roster.
Oher has been dealing with an injured toe, which kept him out of the team's last two games. The offensive lineman signed a four-year contract worth $20 million with the Titans this offseason after spending five years with the Baltimore Ravens.
Byron Stingily has been starting at right tackle for Tennessee with Oher out of the lineup.
The Titans are currently 2-11 and have lost seven straight games. Tennessee hosts the New York Jets on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. ET.
