Report: Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell hyperextended right knee vs. Bengals

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell hyperextended his right knee in the third quarter of the team's game against the Cincinnati Bengals, Michele Tafoya reports. His return to the game is doubtful.

Bell sustained the injury after he was tackled by Bengals safety Reggie Nelson.

Bell was able to walk off the field under his own power, and was taken to the locker room for evaluation.

In Sunday's game, Bell ran for 20 yards on six carries. He also had six catches for 80 yards.

Entering Sunday's action, he had run for 1,341 yards on 282 carries and eight touchdowns in 15 games. He also had 77 catches for 774 yards and three touchdowns.

The winner of the game will win the AFC North.
