The Kansas City Chiefs have signed Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor

On Wednesday, Pro Football Talk reported that Pryor was working out with the team. Later in the day, Pryor tweeted a photo of himself with a Chiefs notebook, saying he was "glad to join."

Terez Paylor of the The Kansas City Star subsequently reported that the deal is for one year.

Pryor has spent the majority of his NFL career with the Raiders, where he started 10 games over three seasons from 2011 to 2013. In 11 games played and nine starts during the 2013 season, Pryor posted a 3-6 record and threw for 1,798 yards with seven touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He also rushed for 576 yards and two touchdowns that year.

The Seahawks traded for Pryor in April, but Seattle cut the former Ohio State quarterback during the preseason.

The Chiefs finished 9-7 and failed to make the postseason in 2014.
