Florida State defensive tackle Eddie Goldman will forgo his senior season to enter the NFL draft, according to Yahoo Sports.

Goldman, a junior, is widely considered a first-round talent. SI.com's Chris Burke had the 6-foot-4, 320-pound prospect going No. 24 in his latest mock draft, saying Goldman was "stout against the run and capable of notching a sack here and there."

Goldman's interest in leaving Florida State early was first reported in mid-December. He finished with 35 tackles (eight for loss) and four sacks in 2014, earning him first-team All-ACC honors.

Odds: OSU, TCU, Alabama listed as favorites for 2015

Goldman was a consensus five-star defensive tackle recruit coming out of Friendship College Academy (Washington, D.C.). He appeared in 10 games as a true freshman and started 13 as a sophomore in 2013.

Florida State finished the regular season 13-0 and No. 3 in the College Football Playoff rankings before losing to Oregon 59-20 in the Rose Bowl.
