The Baltimore Ravens have hired former Chicago Bears head coach Marc Trestman as their offensive coordinator, the team announced Tuesday.

Trestman will replace Gary Kubiak, who was hired as the head coach of the Denver Broncos on Monday.

The Bears fired Trestman after he went 13-19 in two seasons with the team. Before coming to Chicago he won two Canadian Football League championships with the Montreal Alouettes. Trestman reportedly interviewed for multiple teams with offensive coordinator vacancies, including the Cleveland Browns and Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bears were second in the NFL in points scored in Trestman's first season but fell to 23rd this season. Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler tied for the league lead with 18 interceptions in 2014.

The Ravens scored the eighth-most points in the NFL this season, which was Kubiak's first with the team.
