The New England Patriots took a late lead in Super Bowl XLIX with a 3-yard pass from Tom Brady to Julian Edelman with 2:02 remaining.
The touchdown pass was Brady's fourth of the game and gave Edelman nine receptions for 109 yards. Edelman appeared to absorb a helmet-to-helmet hit earlier, but remained in the game.
The score gave the Patriots their first lead since the second quarter. Neither team scored in the first quarter.
