The Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings will play in the annual NFL Hall of Fame Game next preseason, the Steelers announced on Wednesday.

The game will be held on Aug. 9 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, the night after the 2015 Pro Football Hall of Fame class is enshrined. The game will be broadcast nationally on NBC’s Sunday Night Football.

BURKE: Many questions ahead for deep AFC North

This year's Hall of Fame class includes former Steelers running back Jerome Bettis and former Vikings center Mick Tingelhoff. Bettis spent 10 seasons in Pittsburgh before retiring after the 2005 season, and Tingelhoff was inducted as the seniors committee nominee after playing 240 games with the Vikings from 1962-78.

Last year's Hall of Fame Game featured the New York Giants against the Buffalo Bills and was won by New York, 17-13.
