Report: Jaguars agree to deal with DT Jared Odrick

The Jacksonville Jaguars agreed to terms with free-agent defensive tackle Jared Odrick, Chris Perkins and Omar Kelly of the Sun-Sentinel report.

The terms of the contract were not disclosed, but according to the report, Odrick was seeking a salary of $7 million per season. He made $1.54 million last season.

Odrick, 27, has played each of his five seasons with the Miami Dolphins after they selected him in the first round of the 2010 draft.

Odrick’s spot in the defensive line rotation will be filled by defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, who is reportedly set to sign a six-year deal worth $114 million with the Dolphins.

The Oakland Raiders, Denver Broncos and Detroit Lions were also reportedly interested in Odrick. Last season, Odrick had 29 total tackles with one sacks, one forced fumbLE and one fumble recovery.

In 65 career games, Odrick has 16.5 sacks.
