The Jacksonville Jaguars and free-agent offensive tackle Jermey Parnell have reportedly agreed to a five-year, $32 million contract.
Parnell, who can play both right and left tackle, started seven games for the Dallas Cowboys last season on the right side, including two playoff games. Doug Free, the Cowboys' primary right tackle, signed a three-year contract on Saturday.
Parnell, 28, played four years of basketball at Ole Miss, followed by one year as a defensive end for the football team. He was converted to the offensive line by the Cowboys in 2010.
Greg A. Bedard of The MMQB ranked Parnell as the 92nd-best available free agent this spring.
