The Kansas City Chiefs have waived quarterback Terrelle Pryor, the team announced on Tuesday.

Pryor signed a one-year contract with the Chiefs in January. The 25-year-old was previously cut by the Seattle Seahawks during the 2014 preseason.

All of Pryor's regular season action to date came in his three seasons with the Oakland Raiders. The Raiders drafted him in the third round of the 2011 supplemental draft, and he started 10 games for Oakland from 2011 to 2013.

In his NFL career, Pryor has completed 56.3% of passes for 1,953 yards, nine touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
