The Houston Texans will appear on the 10th season of Hard Knocks, the team announced Wednesday.

ESPN's Tania Ganguli first reported the Texans would appear on the HBO show, and SI.com's Richard Deitsch confirmed the news.

Hard Knocks, which follows a franchise through August training camp, spotlighted the Atlanta Falcons in 2014.

High-profile storylines at Texans training camp could include J.J. Watt's follow-up to his Defensive Player of the Year season, Jadeveon Clowney's return from injury and a potential quarterback competition between Brian Hoyer and Ryan Mallett

In 2013, the NFL passed a rule that the league could compel a team to appear on Hard Knocks, as long as the team did not have a first-year head coach, had not made the playoffs over the past two seasons and had not appeared on the show in the previous 10 years. Houston was one of nine teams eligible to be forced to participate in 2015.

The Texans finished 9-7 in 2014, just missing the playoffs.
