The NFL draft is over and free agency is winding down, but the NFL rumor mill is still abuzz. Many teams are finishing up minicamp this week and several big-name players skipped organized team activities while they negotiate new contracts. The workouts gave teams a chance to see their draft picks and new signings compete against established veterans. The free agents who have yet to sign contracts could end up with new homes soon as the start of training camp looms.

• The Tampa Bay Buccaneersreportedly plan to use a virtual reality system to help speed up rookie quarterback Jameis Winston's development, according to FOX Sports.

• The agent for recently waived quarterback Terrelle Pryorsays he is willing to switch positions to wide receiver.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilsonsaid he is not concerned about his contract negotiations being a distraction to the team and remains “hopeful” that he will receive a new deal.

Texans signed cornerback Johnathan Joseph to a three-year, $22 million contract through 2017, reports the Houston Chronicle.

New York Giants rookie safety Landon Collins has reportedly agreed to terms. Collins was selected with 33rd overall pick by the Giants in 2015 NFL draft.

Redskins QB Robert Griffin III told ESPN this is the best he has felt over the last couple years as the team's 2015 training camp approaches.

• The Detroit Lions waived CB Bill Bentley after minicamp practice on Thursday, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.

Giants WR Victor Cruz, who is recovering from a patellar tear, told reporters he expects to avoid the PUP list and start training camp as an active participant.

• NFL Network's Albert Breer reports that the Eagles have had preliminary contract talks with QB Sam Bradford, but adds that no real progress has been made. 

Falcons WR Julio Jonestold ESPN he's not going to hold out in order to get a new long-term contract.

Cowboys WR Dez Byant stopped by Thursday's minicamp practice but did not take part in the workout, according to PFT
