Redskins QB Robert Griffin III out for preseason game vs. Ravens

The Washington Redskins have announced that quarterback Robert Griffin III will miss Saturday's preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens due to a concussion.
The news comes one day after the team announced Griffin was cleared to play.
NFL independent neurologist Robert Kurtzke said in a statement that Griffin “should be held from gameplay this weekend and be retested in one (to) two weeks before a firm conclusion to return to gameplay can be made.”
Griffin originally sustained the concussion last week against the Detroit Lions in a 21–17 Redskins win, and was going through the NFL’s concussion protocol.
