The news comes one day after the team announced Griffin was cleared to play.
NFL independent neurologist Robert Kurtzke said in a statement that Griffin “should be held from gameplay this weekend and be retested in one (to) two weeks before a firm conclusion to return to gameplay can be made.”
He played four series in the game and went 2-for-5 with two fumbles and three sacks.
Over his first two preseason appearances, Griffin was 6-for-13 for 44 yards and zero touchdowns.
