After Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch was stopped on fourth down to end Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams, Lynch’s mother called for the team to fire offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell. On Thursday, she added to her comments on Facebook and Twitter.

On Tuesday, The Seattle Timesposted a screenshot of a Facebook post written by Lynch’s mother, Delisa, in which she calls Bevell “the worst play caller ever.”

On a fourth-and-1 during overtime Sunday, Lynch was stopped for a one-yard loss, ending the game.

After the game, Seattle head coach Pete Carroll defended the play call.

“We had been making two and three yards on that all day long,” Carroll told reporters. “That was a play we had been making all throughout the day, and it worked well. I don't know how they got the penetration, but they did and we weren't able to knock it in.”

On Thursday, Delisa Lynch added to her comments on social media.
