Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Saturday an MRI revealed damage in the hamstring of running back Marshawn Lynch.

Lynch originally hurt his hamstring in Week 2, but played in Week 3 against the Chicago Bears. Lynch did not practice this week ahead of the Seahawks’ Monday night game against the Detroit Lions.

According to Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, Lynch has a 40% chance to play against Detroit.

Lynch has 38 carries for 128 yards so far this season. He has played in 61 straight regular season games for the Seahawks. Veteran Fred Jackson is listed behind Lynch on the team’s depth chart.
