The Chicago Bears, riding the momentum from back-to-back victories, will head to Ford Field this week to take on the winless Detroit Lions.

After starting 0–3 under new head coach John Fox, the Bears rebounded to win two consecutive games against AFC opponents, both aided by fourth-quarter drives led by quarterback Jay Cutler. Last week, Cutler clinched a victory in Kansas City with a seven-yard touchdown pass to running back Matt Forte with 18 seconds left in the game. Linebacker Pernell McPhee added a sack and a blocked field goal.

The Lions, meanwhile, are 0–5 and off to their worst start since 2008, when they finished the season 0-16. They are coming off a 42–17 defeat at the hands of the Arizona Cardinals, in which Detroit's starting quarterback, Matthew Stafford, was benched in favor of Dan Orlovsky. The Lions, who went 11–5 last season and earned a wild card berth, are currently the only winless team in the NFL.
