Cleveland Browns starting quarterback Josh McCown left Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams in the fourth quarter with a right shoulder injury and did not return.

Backup Johnny Manziel entered the game with the Browns trailing 24–6 and played the final minutes, completing 4 of 5 passes for 27 yards, and rushing for five more.

McCown left after completing 26 of 32 for 270 yards.

The Browns fell to 2–5 with the 24–6 loss, while the Rams improved to 3–3.
