Cowboys receiver Cole Beasley cost Dallas an opportunity to come back against the Giants when he muffed a punt late in the fourth quarter.

The Cowboys had forced a Giants punt with under two minutes to play but Beasley couldn’t handle Brad Wing’s deep kick and Myles White recovered the ball.

Because Dallas had no timeouts remaining, the Giants were able to run the clock out and close out a 27–20 victory.

With the win, the Giants improved to 4–3 and are in first place in the NFC East, though the Eagles can tie New York with a win on Sunday night against the Panthers
