Steelers coach Mike Tomlin expects quarterback Ben Roethlisberger to return for next week’s game against the Bengals, Tomlin told reporters Sunday.

Roethlisberger has missed four games since spraining his MCL against the Rams in Week 3. He was considered a game-time decision for Sunday’s game against the Chiefs but Landry Jones made his first career start. Mike Vick, who started the last three games, was out with a hamstring injury.

Jones was 16 of 29 for 209 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions in Pittsburgh’s 23–13 loss. He was also sacked twice. The Steelers are 2–2 without Roethlisberger.

With Sunday’s loss, the Steelers fell to 4–3 on the season. The Bengals lead the AFC North at 6–0.
