Felony charges reduced against wife of Dolphins CB Brent Grimes

The wife of Dolphins CB Brent Grimes was arrested after a confrontation with Miami-Dade police in late September.

Fleony charges against the wife of Miami Dolphins cornerback Brent Grimes have been reduced, according to David Ovalle of The Miami Herald.

Tamiko “Miko” Grimes will now face misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest without violence and disorderly conduct after her confrontation with Miami-Dade police outside Sun Life Stadium in late September.

Video of the incident captured by a bystander shows Grimes on the ground, surrounded by several officers while two officers put her in handcuffs.

Grimes’s husband is a nine-year NFL veteran in his third year with the Dolphins.

Grimes made headlines before her arrest by going on an extended anti-NFL rant on Twitter last year. She makes regular appearances on Miami sports talk radio station 560 AM.
