After he dropped a potential go-ahead touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter, Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. took the blame for his team’s loss to the Patriots on Sunday.

“I definitely lost it for us,” Beckham said, according to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News. “You can’t win it, but you can definitely lose it and I feel like I did that.”

With just over two minutes left in the game, Eli Manning found Beckham in the end zone for what would have been a go-ahead score but Beckham had the ball knocked out of his hands before he completely established possession.

The play was initially ruled a touchdown but was reversed after a replay review.

The Giants were forced to settle for a field goal on the drive, and went up by two points. Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski made a 54-yard field goal with one second left to give New England the win.

With the loss, the Giants dropped to 5–5 on the season. The Eagles and Redskins are tied for second place in the NFC East at 4–5.
