Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins gave the game ball to his father Don in a touching moment after Sunday’s 47–14 win against the New Orleans Saints, and CSN Washington’s cameras captured the moment.

Sunday marked the first game his father Don attended since his cancer diagnosis earlier this year.

After the game, Cousins, who recorded an impressive performance on Sunday by finishing the game with a perfect passer rating, hugged his father and presented him with the game ball.

Don told his son “nice job” and politely thanked the quarterback for the gift.
