The Philadelphia Eagles and quarterback Mark Sanchez had a miserable game Sunday in a 45–17 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With just over four minutes left to play in the game, Buccaneers linebacker Lavonte David made sure that the game would be one Sanchez would want to forget, returning an interception 20 yards for a touchdown.

On just the second play of the drive, the Eagles ran a screen with Sanchez attempting to get the ball to Darren Sproles. Instead, Sanchez’s backfoot-throw sailed and landed right in the hands of David.

All David had to do was jog into the end zone untouched for the score.

The interception was the second on the day for Sanchez. The Eagles were outgained by the Buccaneers 521–383 in the blowout.

The pick is the first for David since 2013.
