Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson capped off a big Sunday afternoon with a 35-yard touchdown run near the end of regulation against the Atlanta Falcons.
Holding a 13–3 lead with under 5 minutes to go in the game, the Vikings gave the ball to Peterson on 3rd-and-5 from the Falcons 35-yard line. Peterson took the ball towards the left sideline, picked up a couple of blocks, and burst downfield to find the end zone.
The run brought Peterson’s rushing total on the day to 158 yards on 29 carries, and the score was his second of the game.
