Monday December 14th, 2015

Buccaneers receiver Vincent Jackson will miss “several games” after spraining his MCL, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports

Jackson was injured in the first half of Sunday’s game against the Saints and did not return to the field. He will have a short week to recover before Tampa Bay’s next game, as the team plays the Rams on Thursday. Jackson also missed three games earlier this season with a knee injury.

Texans QB Brian Hoyer (concussion) doubtful vs. Colts

Undrafted rookie Donteea Dye is Jackson’s backup and had one catch for 16 yards on Sunday.

Jackson is second on the team with 543 receiving yards and is one of four Tampa Bay players with three touchdown catches.
