New York Giants left tackle Ereck Flowers left Monday night’s 31–24 win against the Miami Dolphins in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury.

He did not return to the game.

Flowers, a 21-year-old rookie, played against the Dolphins despite re-spraining his ankle last week against the New York Jets. The Week 13 matchup marked the second time this season Flowers had sprained his ankle.

He missed New York’s Week 3 game against the Washington Redskins with his first ankle sprain.

Flowers, a 2014 All-ACC second team honoree, was selected by the Giants in the first round of the 2015 draft out of Miami (FL).
