Chargers safety Eric Weddle may have played his last game in San Diego. As speculation about a potential move to Los Angeles mounts, the Chargers beat the Dolphins in their final home game of the season.

After the game, Weddle signed autographs for fans for more than an hour before walking to the center of the field to lay on his back in the nearly empty stadium.

BANKS: Panthers, Giants couldn’t be less alike

Weddle, 30, has played his entire nine-year career with the Chargers. The franchise has played 55 seasons in the city but ownership has been involved in a longstanding battle with city officials over the financing for a new stadium to keep the team in San Diego. NFL owners are expected to vote next month on relocation proposals.
