Former 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh sent a vague message on Twitter just an hour after the Niners fired his replacement, Jim Tomsula.
Do not be deceived. You will reap what you sow.— Coach Harbaugh (@CoachJim4UM) January 4, 2016
Tomsula was the defensive line coach under Harbaugh from 2011 to 2014.
During his final season in San Francisco, there was reportedly a power struggle between Harbaugh and general manager Trent Baalke. Baalke is reportedly expected to keep his job after the team let Tomsula go.
Harbaugh left San Francisco after last season in what the team described as a mutual parting of ways. He then took the head coaching job at Michigan, his alma mater, and led the Wolverines to a 10–3 record in his first season.
