The Houston Texans (9–7) host the Kansas City Chiefs (11–5) in the AFC wild-card game on Saturday.

The Texans, the AFC South champions, finished the regular season with a 30–6 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus combined for 6 1/2 sacks and Jonathan Grimes recorded two touchdowns to help the Texans clinch their third playoff berth in franchise history.

The Chiefs are coming off a 23–17 win over the Oakland Raiders in their season finale, which marked Kansas City’s 10th straight victory, after losing five straight at the beginning of the campaign.

The Chiefs defeated the Texans 27–20 in the first game of the season on Sept. 13.
