Watch: Texans’ Brian Hoyer throws three picks in first half vs. Chiefs
Brian Hoyer’s playoff debut did not go very smoothly.
The Texans quarterback tossed three interceptions in the first half against the Chiefs, also fumbling once, and helping Houston dig itself a 13–0 hole at halftime.
Hoyer completed 7–14 passes for 61 yards in the half as the Texans struggled to put together a drive against a tough Chiefs defense.

Hoyer would throw one more interception in the second half on the way to a 30–0 loss.
Texans head coach Bill O’Brien said after the game that he never considered benching Hoyer, who finished with a line of 15–34 passing for 136 yards and four interceptions.
