The Tennessee Titans will hire Tampa Bay Buccaneers director of player personnel Jon Robinson as their new general manager, reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Robinson has served as the Bucs' director of player personnel for the last two seasons. Prior to joining Tampa Bay, Robinson was with the New England Patriots for 12 years.

Tennessee also interviewed the Kansas City Chiefs’ director of football operations Chris Ballard and the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Chris Polian for the position.

Robinson will replace Ruston Webster, who was fired on Jan. 4. The Titans went 18–46 in four seasons under Webster.

The team will also look to hire a new head coach after Ken Whisenhunt was fired on Nov. 3. Assistant coach Mike Mularkey was named the interim coach, and is a candidate in the Titans’ coaching search.

Tennessee finished this season with a 3–13 record.
