Watch: Danny Amendola flagged for unnecessary roughness on punt

New England Patriots receiver Danny Amendola was flagged for unnecessary roughness while returning a punt.

New England Patriots receiver Danny Amendola got a taste of life on the other side of the ball Saturday.

During a Chiefs punt, Amendola—lined up as the returner—was flagged for unnecessary roughness for a helmet to helmet hit. Amendola was trying to prevent the Chiefs from downing the punt inside the five-yard line. 

Kansas City managed to down the punt at the five, and the penalty pushed the Patriots closer to the two.
