Cleveland Browns executive VP of football operations Sashi Brown said Johnny Manziel was fined by the team for missing treatment on the day of the regular season finale.

He said the team plans to meet with the quarterback.

“We set expectations for our team on and off field,” Brown said in a press conference on Thursday. “Johnny [Manziel] owns a lot of this in terms of the future of his career.”

Brown also added that newly hired Browns head coach Hue Jackson will have input in the team's personnel decisions on whether or not to keep Manziel.

Manziel missed the final game of the regular season while in concussion protocol but was spotted gambling at a Las Vegas casino that same weekend. After the report surfaced, Manziel posted a photo to Instagram with a geotag in Ohio to indicate that he was at home.
