Sunday January 24th, 2016

New England Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski missed his first extra point in 524 tries during the AFC Championship on Sunday.

After Patriots running back Steven Jackson scored on a short run to cut the Denver Broncos lead to 7–6, Gostkowski simply pushed the kick past the right upright.

Gostkowski had not missed an extra point since 2006 and was 60 for 60 on postseason extra point attempts prior to the miss.
