Former NFL wide receiver Jabar Gaffney was arrested in Florida for marijuana possession.

Former NFL wide receiver Jabar Gaffney was arrested in Florida for marijuana possession, according to Jacksonville.com.

Gaffney, 35, was charged with one count of marijuana possession, one count of drug possession and one felony count of drug possession. He was released after posting $7,000 bail.

Gaffney played with six teams over his 11-season NFL career. He last played with the Miami Dolphins in 2012.

The Texas-native played college football at Florida. He was kicked out of the program for larceny, but was eventually allowed to work his way back onto the team.
