Turnovers are killing the Panthers in Super Bowl 50.

Carolina was driving down the field midway through the third quarter until Cam Newton was intercepted by Broncos safety T.J. Ward. Ward fumbled the ball after making the pick, but Danny Trevathan recovered to keep possession for Denver.

Ward’s interception marked the third time that the Panthers have turned over the ball.

Denver led 16–7 after the interception, and the Broncos punted on their ensuing drive.
