Investigators in the Dallas Police Department have obtained medical records for Colleen Crowley as they continue to look into the allegation that Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel assaulted her, according to ESPN.

In the affidavit filed by Crowley on Feb. 5, she claims that Manziel struck her multiple times, including a blow that left her with a ruptured eardrum. ESPN reports that, as of a week ago, Crowley had not regained hearing in the damaged ear.

The medical records from the incident will give police the ability to confirm Crowley’s injuries and could affect the severity of a possible charge against him.

Browns spokesman denies that team lied to protect Johnny Manziel

Manziel is also accused of dragging Crowley into his car and threatening to kill both her and himself.

A two-year restraining order against Manziel has reportedly been granted for Crowley.
