Watch: Chiefs’ Jamaal Charles works out four months after ACL tear

Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles is already working hard to get back on the field.
Charles tore his ACL during Week 5 of the Chiefs’ 2015 season, just over four months ago. On Friday, Charles posted a video to Twitter of him jumping rope and doing balancing exercises.

Charles also tore his ACL in 2011, but returned to form for three straight seasons in which he carried the ball at least 200 times each year.
Charles, a former third-round pick in 2008, has run the ball 1,320 times in his career for 7,220 yards and 41 touchdowns. He also has 283 catches for 2,443 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns.
The 29-year-old Charles has averaged at least five yards per carry in each of his eight seasons.
