The Chicago Bears moved up to No. 9 from No. 11 on draft night and took Georgia outside linebacker Leonard Floyd.

The Bears sent the No. 11 selection and a fourth-rounder to the Buccaneers to make the pick. NFL Network”s Ian Rapoport reports the Bears were aware the Giants (picking at No. 10) liked Floyd, spurring Chicago to make a move.

Floyd, a pass-rushing linebacker, made 74 tackles during the 2015 season playing in Georgia’s 3–4 scheme.
