Jets receiver Brandon Marshall posted an Instagram photo of him and former Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick together on Monday.

Fitzpatrick is currently embroiled in a contentious contract negotiation with the Jets, as the two sides have not been able to agree on a deal to bring Fitzpatrick back to New York for this upcoming season.

Marshall said earlier this month he was “scared” because he hadn’t heard from Fitzpatrick in two weeks. It appeared Monday the two had worked out their communication issues.

Fitzpatrick had a career year for the Jets last season, playing in all 16 games and throwing for 31 touchdowns. The Jets have reportedly offered the quarterback multiple contracts to choose from.
