Report: Lions sign WR Anquan Boldin to one-year deal

The Detroit Lions have signed wide receiver Anquan Boldin to a one-year deal worth $2.75 million plus incentives, according to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.
Boldin received a $750,000 signing bonus. The Eagles and Giants were also reportedly interested in Boldin.
Boldin was the San Francisco 49ers’ leading receiver last season as he collected 69 catches for 789 yards with four touchdowns.
After the retirement of Calvin Johnson, the Lions will head into the 2016 season with Boldin, Marvin Jones, T.J. Jones, Jeremy Kerley and Golden Tate at the receiver position.
Boldin hinted at the deal earlier in the week:
This coming season, I am excited to announce that I have chosen to play for the @Lions and reunite with Coach Caldwell for another run.

Boldin will turn 36 in October. His 13,195 yards are the 17th most in the history of the NFL. Andre Johnson, Steve Smith and Larry Fitzgerald are the only active receivers with more yards in their career.
