The Colts have signed veteran cornerback Antonio Cromartie, the team announced Monday.
Cromartie confirmed the signing in a tweet, writing “I am now a Colt. I’m loving it.”
According to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, the deal is for one year, and worth $3 million with $250,000 guaranteed and $500,000 in incentives.
Cromartie played in 15 games for the Jets last season, registering 29 tackles but no interceptions for the first time since his rookie year. Cromartie has played five out of his last six seasons in New York, also spending a year with Arizona in 2014.
Cromartie was originally a first-round pick of the Chargers, with whom he spent the first four seasons of his career.
In 10 seasons, Cromartie has 31 career interceptions.
