National Anthem Protests

Colin Kaepernick first sat during the national anthem in the preseason, and he has continued his protest into the regular season, taking a knee instead of sitting. The quarterback's protest, which a number of other NFL players and athletes have joined, is intended to raise awareness about racial injustice in America.
