On the Clock Podcast: Mocking 2017's first round

Why wait until April? Or until we hear who's declaring for the pros and who's going back to school, for that matter? This week's podcast simulates Round 1 of the 2017 draft and breaks down the prospects NFL teams have been watching all year.

With the college football regular season in the books and the draft order beginning to take shape, Chris Burke, Eric Single and Bette Marston staged their first live 2017 mock draft on this week's episode of the On the Clock Podcast. Using a projected draft order based on the standings at the end of Week 12, we divvied up the teams between our three hosts and ran through each pick, breaking down what every franchise needs and sizing up the top prospects at each position.
