Eddie Lacy weighs in at 253 pounds, collects $55,000 in incentives

Eddie Lacy is getting paid after dropping weight.

Seattle Seahawks running back Eddie Lacy collected $55,000 for weighing in under 255 pounds, his agents announced.

Lacy weighed in at 253 pounds. He can still earn an additional $330,000 in weight incentives, which would be carried out monthly. The Seahawks' target weight for Lacy is 250 pounds by July and August. He could be down to 245 in September to December.

When Lacy met with the Seahawks, he weighed 267 pounds. His contract has $2.8 million guaranteed but can earn up t $5.5 million due to incentives.

Head coach Pete Carroll is optimistic about Lacy's shape as he told ESPN 710 Seattle that Lacy "looks awesome. He looks great and he’s huge and he’s going to keep playing huge and he did a fantastic job."
