On this week's show, I sat down for conversations with Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri, Falcons CEO Rich McKay and Falcons owner Arthur Blank. I spoke with the veteran Vinatieri during his 22nd training camp. The 44-year-old kicker talks about his first training camp, the greatest field goal of his life and the prospect of making the Pro Football Hall of Fame one day. He also discusses how much longer he thinks he’ll play. After a tour of the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, McKay talks about the unique elements of the stadium, like the 36.5-ton Hungarian falcon that welcomes fans to the place, and on creature comforts that make the ticket at a Falcons game almost like a cover charge. Arthur Blank imagines the future of stadiums, explains how his vision for the new stadium became a reality, and how he created a partnership between the low-income West Side of Atlanta and the affluent downtown.
