Falcons, Mack Hollins Agree to One-Year Deal, per Report

Falcons quarterback Desmond Ridder has a new target for 2023.
Atlanta is signing former Raiders wide receiver Mack Hollins to a one-year contract, according to a Sunday night report from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
In his one and only season in Las Vegas, Hollins proved a serviceable contributor, catching 57 passes for 690 yards and four touchdowns—all career highs.
Since the Eagles drafted him in the fourth round out of North Carolina in 2017, Hollins has spent time with Philadelphia, the Dolphins, and the Raiders. With the Eagles, he won Super Bowl LII, catching one pass in the divisional round against the Falcons.

The Falcons are expected to begin life in 2023 with Ridder under center after rolling with quarterback Marcus Mariota for much of 2022. Atlanta finished 7–10, last in the NFC South, but remained in postseason contention until late in the season.
Hollins is renowned for his run blocking skills, which should prove valuable if the Falcons continue to employ a run-heavy offensive scheme. The 29-year-old is joining a thin receiving corps behind second-year pass-catcher Drake London.
