Aaron Rodgers Arrives at Jets Facility for First Time Since Trade

After 18 years with the Packers to start his NFL career, it’s hard to envision Aaron Rodgers in any other shade of green. Days after the long-awaited trade to the Jets was made official, Rodgers touched down at his new team facility, sporting some New York gear for the first time.

The Jets shared a dramatic slow-motion video showing Rodgers arriving at the team facility in a team hoodie. Team owner Woody Johnson was on hand to greet the quarterback that he hopes will lead the team back to the playoffs for the first time since 2010, and potentially even capture the team’s first Super Bowl since the third edition of the game back in 1968.

After months of speculation and negotiation, the Jets acquired Rodgers, the No. 15 pick in this week’s NFL draft and an additional fifth-round pick. The Packers receive the No. 13 pick, a second-round pick, a sixth-round pick and a conditional 2024 second-round pick that will become a first-rounder if Rodgers plays 65% of offensive snaps for New York this fall.
